Can anyone point me to a study revealing harmful effects of ingesting much diluted hydrogen peroxide?

I would not do something like that yourself at place..it needs to be done by a professional. Many doctors/health care professionals do preform hydrogen peroxide group therapy.

I have two children, and they are remarkably authority at hurting themselves.
