whats the difference between iodine and hydrogen peroxide for disinfectant?

Povidine iodine is the brown substance, Hydrogen peroxide H2O2 is the bubbly kind
Do they kill different bacteria/viruses? like aerobic and anaerobic?
H2O2 stops bleeding as well but also destroys interweaving
Which one is better/more effective or use both?

Iodine is a halogen like chlorine which has a bacteriocidal (kills bacteria) and bacteriostatic (stops bacteria multiplying) implication.
