Is a hydrogen peroxide based mouth wash safe for every day use?

I had a cut in mouth and cleaned out the finish w/ a hydrogen peroxide based mouth based mouth wash. It did a great job of cleaning my mouth w/out being ruthless at all. The mouth wash was not advertised as an every day mouth wash. It was marketed for wounds.
If the call suggests that you don't use it daily I would suggest you don't use it daily.
