Is it safe to peroxide your hair if you do it the right way?

I have suntanned brwn, w/ some super red high lights in my hair. I was just wandering w/ the colors of my hair is it vault to use peroxide to lighten my hair w/ just a few highlights? If it is safe will someone please let me know the prerogative way to do it. Thanks Everyone!

The Shur Thing: Another day, another hairstyle

It's descend from. Time for a change. Every spring I look in the mirror at the beauty parlor and over recall about making a change in my appearance. Taking off those extra umpteen pounds is unquestionably not going to happen anytime soon. Then I smoosh my face this way and that to see how my wrinkles and the years would fade away if I had plastic surgery. But I know I am too chicken to do it.

What's the quickest and least painful way to force a change? Why a new hairdo, of course. As I sit there pondering, I remember all the hair changes I have made over the years and they are many. Hair is so powerful to my sense of self and a bad hair day is a bad day for me.

The pictures of me as a little girl show me with lovely curls. But there is not even a gust of a curl in my hair. Mom gave me those awful home permanents and I can still smell them. After the first one my hair turned to frizz.

As a teen my mam chased me around the house with peroxide. She felt that I had mousey brown hair that needed some ooomph. In the end I started coloring my hair professionally in high school and never stopped. I have no raison d'etre what my hair looks like without it. My granddaughter told me recently that she knew I wasn't old because, "Grandma, your hair is always the same color.
