Safe to use normal mouthwash after hydrogen peroxide rinse?

I lessen 6% hydrogen peroxide with five parts water (as the instructions say) and use that as a mouthwash, but the aftertaste is a bit too comparable to chemicals for me. Is it ok to use a normal mouthwash brand after just to get rid of the drop?
