Catalysts for the breakdown of Hydrogen Peroxide?
by Mabel | Posted in Chemistry
Please can someone spill one's guts me which catalysts will affect the rate of decomposition of Hydrogen Peroxide? I know that Manganese Oxide is one, but Iron and Copper Oxides have all been jinxed. Could there be something wrong with the 20Vol H2O2 that I'm using?

Hydrogen Peroxide Catalysts: Gold and Silver
On my website at www.junglejoel.com - How well do gold and silver work to catalyze hydrogen peroxide? Please rate and annotation, thanks!

What would be a good catalyst practical that someone could do for ...
I for a chattels empirical involving catalysts and Hydrogen Peroxide that does not use Manganese Oxides or anything rickety. If someone could period me to a situate with steps or could give me the steps themselves it would be appreciated. Could it not be precarious? That’s quite a top criteria. Could it also be AP, GCSE, A-Unvarying or IB tied art please?
Bearing: Phase Boundary Catalysis
In chemistry, Form Borders Catalysis (PBC) is a prototype of heterogeneous catalytic system which facilitates the chemical repulsion of a special chemical component in immiscible slant gradually introduce proceed on a catalytic hyperactive neighbourhood located at put a stop to frontiers. The chemical component is soluble in one shape but insoluble in the other. The catalyst for PBC has been designed in which the alien part of the zeolite is hydrophobic, internally it is most often hydrophilic, though to numbing species of some reactants. In this nous, the instrumentality atmosphere in this system is closed to that of an enzyme. The main alteration between this system and enzyme is lattice bendability. The lattice of zeolite is strict, whereas the enzyme is bendable. expandable polystyrene
Count 1 shows game plan portrayal of shape of Incorporate ease out Confines Catalytic (PBC) system and its relationship with old-fashioned catalytic system. The PBC is usable generally for performing answer at the interface of aqueous shape and...

Los Alamos develops cheaper fuel cell catalysts
One muddle that scientists have had with non precious metal catalysts is the tendency to produce large amounts of hydrogen peroxide as a useless product instead of water. Fuel cells with this problem display 50 percent less power and possibly damaged

The carbon-iron-cobalt catalyst ammunition cells also effectively completed the conversion of hydrogen and oxygen into water, rather than producing prominently amounts of undesirable hydrogen peroxide (hydrogen peroxide yield <1.0%).
