Why is Hydrogen Peroxide bad for the body?

I separate that Hydrogen Peroxide is good for the body, in that it helps to disinfect and protect against infections. But what are the contrary effects of Hydrogen Peroxide in the body?

It DOES keep shell free from infections, but it can also slow down white blood-cells from doing their job, which isn't a considerate thing.
