Why do you use hydrogen peroxide to test enzyme activity?

I did a lab at infuse with. My question was "What effect does acidic pH have on enzyme project?" I poured hydrogen peroxide to test it. I know hydrogen peroxide creates a chemical repulsion, but why exactly did I have to pour hydrogen peroxide?

Pouring hydrogen peroxide onto the enzyme is what will "denature" it.

Russia orders Soyuz delays in wake of test mishap

Mike Suffredini, manageress of the space station program at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, said his Russian counterparts learned the station team they had decided to scrap the damaged descent module and to accelerate processing of the next downstream Soyuz to take its inappropriate.

As a result, three of the station's current six crew members -- commander Daniel Burbank, Anton Shkaplerov and Anatoly Ivanishin -- will tender their stay in orbit by a month and a half and return to Earth April 30 and the body that had planned to launch on March 30 -- Gennady Padalka, Sergei Revin and Joseph Acaba -- will be delayed to May 15.

"During problems testing of the descent module and the pressurized section of the propulsion module, the instrument was over pressurized and as a result, it caused a leak in the area where the hydrogen peroxide system is housed for the thrusters that are acclimated to during descent and landing," Suffredini told reporters.
