Can you use hydrogen peroxide to bleach hair?

Can you use hydrogen peroxide (3% H2O2) to fade small sections of hair? I mean, I've heard of using peroxide to fade hair, but I'm wondering if hydrogen peroxide will work. Just for some minor creations, like annoying black hairs near my belly button...

I would cut a a swatch of ringlets off and wrap a small rubber band around it so that you will have an adequate amount of whisker to work with. Then, I would put the peroxide on it and then blow dry it. If it isn't light enough, then do it again.

University of Queensland start-up in the running for a US$200k prize

A start-up based at the University of Queensland has been named as a finalist in the $US200,000 Presume H20 prize for water start-ups, run by US-based non-profit group Devise H2O.

 

The start-up, Bilexys, was formed by UniQuest to commercialise technology developed at the Advanced Top-grade Management Centre, located at the University of Queensland.

 

Established by the university in the 1980s, UniQuest is one of Australia’s largest and most first university commercialisation groups.

 

UniQuest helped the AWMC unfold a strong intellectual property protection and business strategy, which saw it win the university’s $100,000 Enterprize matter planning competition.

 

The Bilexys technology is currently under licence from the university, with several succeeding patent applications strengthening the IP value for prospective investors and manufacture partners.

 

Bilexys saw an opportunity to biologically convert the organics within wastewater into exuberant-value chemical products, including sodium hydroxide and hydrogen peroxide.
