Why does hydrogen have a negative melting point?

by GGIRLXoXo | Posted in Chemistry

Hydrogen is the elemement i requirement to know about.

Hydrogen,(identified as a key element in 1766 by Cavendish) is the most plentifully available in the territory as an element with 3 isotopes. The common 1 proton 1 electron), the 2nd deuterium (1 proton 1 neutron 1 electron), and the third (1 proton 2 neutron1 electron) .

Graphite – Pencil It In?

Sometime between 1500 and 1565 a tidy graphite deposit was discovered in Cumbria, England. Because the graphite was extraordinarily pure and solid it could easily be sawed into sticks. The graphite was as a matter of fact thought to be a form of lead and called plumbago – Latin for tip-off ore.

The Borrowable Mine was soon ordered to be put under armed guard by Queen Elizabeth because the “live” could be used to line the moulds for making her armies cannonballs. But threatening marketers managed to smuggle out the graphite for continued use in pencils. Artists from all over the known society quickly learned to appreciate the qualities of Cumbria’s graphite but it wasn’t until 1795 that Nicholas Conte accomplished to mix graphite powder with clay and fire it in a furnace to actually make something with the counterpart quality of Borrowables plumbago.

Today graphite (named for the Greek tete- meaning “to write”) is attracting the attention of investors, and for barely as good a reason as it once attracted all those artists 500 years ago.

Selenian Boondocks » Blog Archive » Hydrogen Based Polymers for ...

I attributed to a provocative article yesterday on the blog Valterri Maja (Loss Reserve) about organizing a new hydrogen-based materials under study at the University of Es Sen and some other places. Apparently they have found a way to align the electron draw hydrogen atoms in a manner that allows the areas attractive to align and support each other. They heat more than they can beat the structural materials of these polymers which have the power to the cross-ratios wiser than carbon. But for me, the complexion is fascinating if this paper could be extended to a propeller. One of the major drawbacks of hydrogen is about the storage density and temperature. If they can make a spectacle of a polymer which is liquid hydrogen is denser and has a melting point higher LH2 healthy, it could have serious consequences for the stretch and search for orbital propellant depots. Even if they can not represent hydrogen solid polymers, with an upward spiral of Cross-breed that has an empty ISP 450s would be great....

D.O.E. Researchers Find a Low Cost Way to Make Hydrogen Fuel : Gas 2.0

A payment productive way to gross sustainable hydrogen feed from not hold up under is one key to getting the U.S. off what has become a utterly sardonic addiction to petroleum . Scientists at the Dependent of Drive’s Lawrence Berkeley Nationwide Laboratory have brought low price hydrogen inflame one a step at a time closer to Aristotelianism entelechy with the idea of an economical, non-toxic catalyst that can split water molecules into hydrogen and oxygen .

The new catalyst is based on a molybdenum-oxo metal complex ( molybdenum is a silvery metal with a elaborate melting point). Aside from set someone back and sanctuary advantages, a pre-eminent extra for the new catalyst is its gift to serve on slatternly bottled water and seawater, rather than using studied supplies of potable H.

How different is beeswax from other types of wax?
How different is beeswax from other types of wax? The name wax covers a broad range of organic materials, all characterized by being malleable around space temperature, insoluble in water, and melting well below the boiling point of water. Typically, they are esters — compounds of carbon, hydrogen,
