Clairol makes haircolor products. Elect from Semi-Permanent (lasts through 8-12 shampoos), Demi-Fixed (lasts through 28 shampoos), Permanent (lasts until your hair grows out or you recolor) or Highlighting & Blonding to aid you become colorwonderful™.

It depends on the desired fruit. If you are coloring your hair for the first time and only want to enhance your common color, try a Demi-Permanent (lasts through 28 shampoos) produce close to your natural haircolor. If you want to go lighter, you basic to select a Permanent (lasts until your hair grows out or you recolor) haircolor, then refer to the interpolate that comes inside your box of Clairol haircolor and check up on the instructions for first time application.

Most Clairol haircolor products will graduate or cover gray hair to some degree. If you have a small share of gray (not very visible), use a Semi-Permanent (lasts through 8-12 shampoos) by-product, such as Loving Care. If you have a higher percentage of gray hair (up to 50%), use a Demi-Endless (lasts through 28 shampoos) product such as Expected Instincts, which will blend away gray hair.
On the other dispense, if you have a lot of gray and want to cover it completely, use a Stable (lasts until your hair grows out or you recolor) product. If you have 50% or more gray, use Fastidious 'n Easy Gray Solution.

Strand test is a simple method for you to proof haircolor on a portion of your hair before doing the entire effort. (The instructions are in your haircolor box.) It's an important step because it's the only way to see perfectly how the shade you selected works with your starting haircolor to bring off the resulting color. A strand test will also support you determine the exact timing you'll need to color your whole mentality.

SKIN ALLERGY Check-up INSTRUCTIONS

1. To open, unscrew the uninterrupted Developing Crème [2] applicator cap. (Don't pull off the tab.) Then unscrew the ColorFused Gel [1] cap. If you are using XL2 or XL4 unscrew the ColorFused Gel [1] cap and start the cap upside down. Hold the tube firmly without squeezing and decimal point the opening away from your face. Push the unmistakable end of the cap into the seal.
2. Mix small, equal parts of ColorFused Gel [1] and Developing Crème [2] in a mouldable bowl. If you are using XL2 or XL4, mix 1 teaspoon of ColorFused Gel [1] with 2 teaspoons of Developing Crème [2].
3. Rigorously panty hose recap both components.
4. Apply mixture to a prove area the size of a quarter in the bend of your elbow. Assign to dry. Use remaining mixture for Strand Test. Do not run this area for 48 hours. During washing, tend with an adhesive bandage and remove it immediately after washing.
5. Peruse the test area during the next 48 hours. If no revenge occurs, you are ready to color.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU HAVE A REACTION DURING OR WITHIN THE NEXT 48 HOURS OF COLORING YOUR HAIR IF DURING COLORING YOU Live:

• Any stinging or burning and/or rash, rinse straight away and discontinue use as this may be an indication of a more serious reaction. DO NOT color your hair again before consulting a doctor or seeking medical counsel.
• Rapidly spreading skin rash, dizziness or faintness, shortness of touch and/or swelling eyes/face, rinse in a jiffy and SEEK IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION. IF AFTER COLORING OR ON THE FOLLOWING DAYS YOU Savvy problems, such as skin itching, skin epidemic, swelling to eyes/face, blistering and/or graze or scalp weeping SEEK IMMEDIATE MEDICAL Notice.

HELPFUL HINTS

• Shades XL2, XL4 and 48.5 are not recommended for gray coverage.
• If your hair is more than 50% gray, your results with the following shades will be more vibrant than the intimation guide depicts: Shades 25, 44, 48, 54 and 57.
• Call the Proficient Color Consultants if you want to dramatically shine or darken your hair, or if your hair has been highlighted or bleached.
• Apply color to dry hair that is at will of styling product build-up. If hair has styling upshot build-up, shampoo one day prior to coloring. However, do not shampoo tout de suite before coloring. Your scalp has natural oils that eschew protect it during coloring.
• If you've recently permed or insouciant your hair, wait at least 7 days and 1 shampoo before coloring and be ineluctable to do your strand test. If you've just colored, minister to 7 days and at least 1 shampoo before perming or relaxing.

STRAND Proof

1. Cut a 1/4 inch big strand from the darkest or grayest part of your dry hair close to the scalp and strap at the cut end.
2. Completely cover the hair strand with the mixture uneaten from the Allergy Test. Start timing.
3. After 15 minutes, contain the strand. If the strand is not the color you want, indemnity it to the mixture and check the color every few minutes for up to 25 minutes. For shades XL2 and XL4, more consuming color results, or to cover resistant grays, it may be certain to leave the haircolor on for up to 45 minutes.

BEFORE YOU MOVE A MUSCLE

• Do your strand trial to judge your very own, optimal lightening time.
• Skim this entire instruction leaflet before you begin.
• Muse on that during lightening, hair goes through some or all of the following stages of lightening: 1. Dark-skinned, 2. Brown, 3. Red, 4. Orange, 5. Gold, 6. Yellow, 7. Blanched Yellow. The darker your current hair color, the more stages your hair must be lightened through to complete a blonde result. If your hair is very dark, you may not be able to disburden to the blonde stage with one application.

SPECIAL CAUTIONS

• This consequence contains ingredients including hydrogen peroxide, which may cause forbidding eye irritation and possible permanent eye injury. If any work gets into your eye, flush immediately with a large amount of room temperature water and seek medical advice.
• We subscribe to removing contact lenses before applying Herbal Essences Fade Blonde. If you must wear contact lenses during dedication and if any product gets into your eye, remove the lens first, then next to immediately with a large amount of lukewarm water and pursue medical advice.
• Never use Herbal Essences Bleach Blonde on eyebrows or eyelashes or if your scalp is irritated or injured.
• Do not use Herbal Essences Whitener Blonde on facial hair, such as a male beard or moustache. Graze abrasions from shaving could lead to irritation.
• Do not inspire or ingest product.
• Do not use if your hair has been colored with henna or metal dyes.
• Construct and use the product in a well-ventilated area. If you experience inhalation difficulties, move to alternative air.
• Remove all jewelry and metal objects from hair before and during lightening.
• Creep by gloves and rinse hair well after application.
• Keep product in a unheated place away from heat and light. Do not mix this lightener with any other spin-off. Do not keep unused mixed product. Do not leave the m in a closed bottle (bottle may expand or rupture).
• Product not intended to be used on children.KEEP ALL HAIRCOLORING PRODUCTS OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.

STRAND Check up on

1. Cut a 1/4 inch large strand from the darkest part of your dry hair close to the scalp and band at the cut end.
2. Put on gloves. Prepare test mixture. Get to Bleach Blonde Powder [1a] packette, until contents sort out to the bottom. Unscrew cap from Bleach Blonde Gel or Crème [1b] and puncture counter seal with pointed end of cap. Mix 1/2 teaspoon of Whiten Blonde Powder [1a], 1 teaspoon of Blench Blonde Gel or Crème [1b] and 2 teaspoons of Developing Crème [2] in dish. Completely cover hair strand with mixture (or moral root area if lightening root re-rise).
3. After 15 minutes (or 30 minutes if you hunger for greater lightening), check the strand. If the strand is not the color you want, give it to the mixture and check the color every 5 minutes for up to a supreme total time of 45 minutes.
4. Lave strand thoroughly and towel dry gently. Hang on to gloves. 5. If strand shows any breakage or looks gummy, do not proceed with lightening your hair. Call the Practised Color Consultants for advice.

HELPFUL HINTS

• Address Herbal Essences Bleach Blonde to dry hair that is allowed of styling product build-up. If hair has styling outcome build-up, shampoo one day prior to lightening. However, do not shampoo promptly before lightening. Your scalp has natural oils that better protect it during lightening.
• Do not use on hair that has been treated with a darker constant color or on hair that has been permed or relaxed. Uneven lightening or breakage may development.
• If you wish to achieve increased lightening on hair yesterday lightened with a permanent blonde shade, call the Authority Color Consultants.
